Who We Are

Star Holler is a boutique screen printing and designed studio owned and operate by Erika Busse and Matthew Decker. Our imagination and talents are limitless and love to bring beauty, and connectedness through art into the world. We have over 15 years of screen printing experience, and have run our own business since 2020. It was in the Arts District of Asheville and was completely wiped out in Hurricane Helene. As of May 2026, we are officially rebuilt and reopened or business, ready to serve our community again.

Erika Busse

Erika Busse is an Asheville, North Carolina-based artist and printmaker whose work is inspired by close observation of nature, meditation, and intuitive vision. Through painting and printmaking, she creates work that invites presence, joy, and a deeper connection to the natural world. Erika earned her Bachelor of Arts in printmaking, and Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Alabama in 2017, and moved to Asheville shortly after.
